“Wahab is more than just a professor. He is someone who can instill hope and a sense of self-worth when you are unable to create it yourself. His undeniable passion for Psychology shines through every lecture and conversation you have with him. I took my first class with him after a period of great difficulty in my life, and he re- lit the spark I have for learning. He made learning exciting for me again, he made me aware of the great potential I have within, and he made me feel like a better person because of the burdens I have carried. He goes to insurmountable lengths to make sure his students succeed, and he constantly reminds them of the greatness they are capable of. I have had a lot of great professors during my time at MacEwan, but Wahab is without a doubt the biggest blessing MacEwan University could ever have.”

“Wahab is diligent, passionate, challenging, and most importantly, he is knowledgeable. Wahab has been my beacon for motivation when I find myself questioning my decisions, and he is the exemplar of what a professor should aspire to become.”

“Entering into university, I had no idea what to expect. Although I was excited to start a new chapter, I quickly realized my future was entirely up to me. Before long, I became stressed--I wanted to excel, but balancing a full course load proved challenging. I felt overwhelmed and lost much of my motivation. I'd even begun to question my academic career.

Meeting Wahab helped change this for me. Wahab was one of the first professors I witnessed demonstrate genuine concern for students and their well-being. His kindness, encouragement, and professionalism not only reignited my passion for learning but instilled within me new hope for my studies. Now, as a fresh graduate, Wahab's compassion still sticks with me. I am grateful to have crossed paths with such a person during my time of need."

“In his role as a professor, Wahab exceeded my greatest expectations. With him attending every lecture with passion, ease and tranquillity, it was effortless to learn and feel comfortable in his classroom. He has a genuine care for the success of his students and inspired me to challenge myself academically. He listened to our concerns and opinions on course material and worked alongside us, rather than against us. Thank you, Wahab, for the positive experience.”

“I am aspiring to become a psychologist and a professor, a dream I hadn’t realized until attending Wahab’s introduction to psychology class. Wahab is the first professor I had that made me feel like I was really capable of reaching any goals I made for myself; he does an incredible job with teaching course material but he also creates an environment of optimism and wonder that has inspired me along with countless other students. Wahab’s lectures have had such a positive impact on my education and who I am as a student, and for that I am truly grateful.”

“Wahab is a professor that treated each student as a person and not just another number; he not only knows his material well, but knows how to deliver it in the right manner. He is one that understands our needs; most importantly, he is a reflection of us, the students and our successes. What makes him a great professor to me was his dedication to educating in his subject matter of the Brain and Behaviour Class (PSYC 275) and his encouraging persistence. In the future, when I become a teacher, I hope my students can have a positive impact from me like Wahab has had on me.”

“Wahab has ignited my passion for this science and inspired me to become a professor myself. He has helped me become more positive and be more confident about my knowledge and skills. Wahab has truly made my experience at this university worth living and very enlightening. Only a few professors have impacted my life in such a positive way, he has definitely been one of them. I cannot thank him enough.”
